HyperTerminal [Console Port Setup]

  1. Enter the new connection name and select the icon you want.
  2. Connect using - COM
  3. Click Configure and follow this options below.
  4. Go to File > Properties > Settings > ASCII Setup....
  5. Checked Send line ends with line feeds.
  6. Checked Echo typed characters locally.
  7. Checked Append line feeds to incoming line ends.
  8. Click OK then OK again.

Speed (baud) - 19200
Data bits - 8
Stop bits - 1
Parity - None
Flow control - None

PuTTY [Console Port Setup]

  1. Go to Connection > Serial.
  2. Follow this options below.
  3. Go to Terminal.
  4. Checked Implicit CR in every LF.
  5. Checked Implicit LF in every CR.
  6. In Local echo, change from Auto to Force On.
