Download and Installation Instructions

1. Go to here and download all the files.
2. Part 1 is a .zip file, Part 2 is a .z01 file, Part 3 is a .z02 file and etc.
3. Right click setup-1.zip and click Extract Here.
4. Open setup.exe.
5. Select the directory path that you want to install the game.
6. Check on Create desktop shortcut and Create a Start Menu folder.
7. Click Install and click Finish after installation completed.
8. Open CODEX folder.
9. Move and Replace Game folder to origin folder.
10. Open Update folder.
11. Open sims-4-updater.exe. It would have an internet connection error pop up, please close the pop up and update again.
12. Browse The Sims 4 origin folder path and check Force check files.
13. Click Update.
14. Don't run the game after installation.
15. Run dialog : appwiz.cpl and click Turn Windows features on or off.
16. Uncheck Hyper-V and Windows Sandbox if it's present.
17. Click OK.
18. Open Windows Defender Security Centre.
19. Go to Device Security > Core isolation details and disable Memory Integrity.
20. Go to App & Browser Control > Exploit protection settings > Program Settings > Add program to customize > Add by program name.
21. Type TS4_x64.exe (or TS4.exe if you want to run the Legacy Edition) and press Add.
22. In the next window check Override System Settings for Control flow guard (CFG) and Force randomization for images (Mandatory ASLR), and keep them off.
23. Click Apply.
24. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery.
25. Click Restart now under Advanced startup.
26. Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware Settings.
27. Click Restart.
28. Try to search for Intel Virtualization Technology option in BIOS/(U)EFI and disable it.
29. Press F10 and select Yes.

Troubleshooting Guide

OrangeEmu error: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions ?

Origin seems to be running. No communication with Orange is possible ?

1. Close Origin and make sure the game is not running.
2. Add TS4.exe and TS4_x64.exe in App & Browser Control.
3. Reboot PC.

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000009a) ?

The code execution cannot proceed because OrangeEmu.dll/OrangeEmu64.dll was not found ?

TS4.exe/TS4_x64.exe is missing ?

1. Add TS4.exe and TS4_x64.exe in App & Browser Control.
2. Restore missing .dll or .exe from quarantine.

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) ?

MSVCR100.dll/MSVCP100.dll/MSVCR120.dll/MSVCP120.dll missing ?

1. Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable both 2010 and 2013, both x86 and x64, and then install it again.

1. Go to Control Panel > Uninstall a program > Turn Windows features on or off and check any .NET Framework you see.
